What’s the Managed SMTP service and how do I use this service?

The Managed SMTP service allows you to send mails from your hosted server, without having to worry about the configuration of your SMTP service. This service can be ordered via the Sales department.
When ordering this service your application and services can use the following relay server:
mailrelay-01.mx.hostbasket.com
The following solutions are possible:
MAIL-RELAY-50perHour (default for all HBDDC servers!)
- Maximum number of recipients per hour: 50
- Maximum number of addressees per message: 50
- Maximum number of messages per connection: 50
- Maximum number of simultaneous connections from the server to IronPort: 1
- Max message size: 25MB
- Spam Check: YES
- Virus Check: YES
MAIL-RELAY-100perHour
- Maximum number of recipients per hour: 100
- Maximum number of addressees per message: 20
- Maximum number of messages per connection: 10
- Maximum number of simultaneous connections from the server to IronPort: 2
- Max message size: 25MB
- Spam Check: YES
- Virus Check: YES
MAIL-RELAY-500perUur
- Maximum number of recipients per hour: 500
- Maximum number of addressees per message: 50
- Maximum number of messages per connection: 50
- Maximum number of simultaneous connections from the server to IronPort: 2
