What is a contact type?

There are three contact types:
- Registrant: the person who owns the right of use of the domain name (licensee).
- Onsite/Registrant technical contacts: a technical contact with the client (the website builder, the website hoster, ....). This contact type is not required.
- Registrar technical contacts: the technical contact of the Registrar (this contact cannot be changed).
If Telenet registers your domain name, you will be the Registrant (licensee) and Telenet will be your technical contact.
