Telenet Cloud Online Help

Which data is backed up and how long are these backups stored by Telenet?

Please note! We only perform data backup. In case of a crash the operating system and software need to be reinstalled so the data can be copied again. Bare metal restore or full recovery are thus not possible.

Which data is backed up

  • SQL export or dump. We only back up files that are not used. In order to make a backup of live databases you need to create a dump so the dump can be backed up.
  • zip files, word documents that are not used

Which data is NOT backed up

  • DLL file
  • All files that are used e.g. live SQL database
