Telenet Cloud Online Help

Where can I find the data necessary to connect to a MySQL database?

You can find the correct hostname to create a connection string to the MySQL database server in MyAccount:

  1. Log on to MyCloud.
  2. Click "Shared Hosting" left in the menu bar.
  3. Click the domain name.
  4. Click "Database" left in the menu bar.

There you will find the correct data to connect to the database and the url to the PHPMyAdmin allowing you to manage your MySQL database.
Here is an example of a connection string for PHP:

mysql_connect("db.cloud.telenet.be", your_username, your_password);
mysql_select_db("your_database_name");
