Telenet Cloud Online Help

Which SMTP server should I use?

An SMTP server is used to send e-mails. Hostbasket customers who use webmail.hostedexchange.be as incoming mail server, are also able to use this mail address as outgoing mail server.
By using our server you are able to send e-mails, wherever you are, so you don’t need to look for another provider when you are abroad.

In case you use a POP3 account you need to use the SMTP server of your internet service provider you use to connect to your internet (via modem, cable, ISDN, ADSL ...).
  • Your internet provider is Telenet: use uit.telenet.be
  • Your internet provider is Belgacom: use relay.skynet.be
  • Your internet provider is another company: contact your internet provider for more information
