Which SMTP server should I use?
An SMTP server is used to send e-mails. Hostbasket customers who use webmail.hostedexchange.be as incoming mail server, are also able to use this mail address as outgoing mail server.
By using our server you are able to send e-mails, wherever you are, so you don’t need to look for another provider when you are abroad.
In case you use a POP3 account you need to use the SMTP server of your internet service provider you use to connect to your internet (via modem, cable, ISDN, ADSL ...).
Your internet provider is Telenet: use smtp.telenet.be
Your internet provider is Belgacom: use relay.skynet.be
Your internet provider is another company: contact your internet provider for more information
